If any of you went to Tiesto at the Roseland Theater, you know how enormous of a show that was. Also let me add the concert sold out hours before it started. Tiesto has been rated among the top 10 DJs in the world for years now. Currently DJ mag has him rated at #2. Not far behind is our friend Ferry, who is rated #7. This is huge! the point of me bringing this up is that Tiesto sold out the roseland theater which capacity is just under 1500. Ferry Corsten, another superstar in the DJ world, is playing at the whiskey bar who's capacity is under 300. It is unfortunate that Portland doesn't have a bigger club dedicated to dance music such as Ruby Skye, in San Fransisco, but it is also a huge gift! Were very privileged to see such a bad ass DJ so up-close. To give you an idea of how rare such a venue is for him, this is Ferry's Once Upon A Night tour schedule for the following week after he blows up the whiskey bar:

Friday @ Gossip, Vancouver, BC. Capacity 800+

Not to mention, Ferry's productions are among my favorite of all the Top DJs. Usually I enjoy the top dog's DJ sets much more than their personal hits, usually they're too poppy for me to really dig.
